Carol Hecker Davis, founder of the School, has been
teaching dog obedience classes on the North Shore since 1981. She
holds a certificate in Dog Obedience Instructor Training from
Newbury Junior College, following completion of a two-year program.
To date, Ms. Davis has trained over 5,000 dogs. She and her Cairn Terrier, Brandy, earned CD, CDX and UD titles. Ms. Davis also earned Working Certificates with two of her Cairn Terriers. She is currently working with her Australian Shepherd, Bandit CGC, toward competing in both obedience and agility trials. She is a professional member of the national Association of Pet Dog Trainers and locally is a member of Old Colony Obedience Club in Danvers, MA. She is also a graduate of Pitzer College in Claremont, CA. COMMENTS FROM STUDENTS"Carol offers an excellent program in both beginner and advanced obedience.
